About Karen

Dr. Karen Rose is a pediatric speech and language therapist with two decades of experience. She is also Cognishine's VP of Research & Clinical Development. Her research focuses on typical and atypical bilingual language development and family language policy, and can be read in numerous internationally renowned journals. She enjoys sharing knowledge, speaking at universities and conferences, peer-reviewing manuscripts for academic journals, and supporting therapists and students. Karen has a highly regarded private clinic specializing in services tailored for English heritage language speakers. Recently, Karen has taken on the position of Head of Clinical Research at Cognishine. In this role, she advocates for best practices and offers invaluable research guidance.
