New activity launched: Assembling Words

Assembling Words is now available - a flexible written-language activity that supports structured practice with words across a range of therapy goals. It’s part of the Cognishine online therapy library and adds more digital therapy exercises for written language, spelling, and functional communication.

Clinicians can choose from several built-in subtasks, depending on whether you’re targeting accurate copying, auditory–written mapping, or functional written expression:

  • Copying (copy the model word)
  • Fill in the Blanks (complete missing letters)
  • Dictation (write the word from what you hear)
  • Written naming (write the word that matches the picture)

It’s quick to set up, with settings that change depending on the subtask (Copying, Fill in the Blanks, Dictation, or Written Naming). For example, you can choose the input method (drag-and-drop, single click, or keyboard), set when feedback appears, toggle distractors and hints, and adjust the layout.
