New activity launched: Reading Comprehension AI

Reading Comprehension AI is now available on the Cognishine platform. This innovative new activity allows you to generate custom passages for clients that they can read on screen and then answer interactive comprehension questions based on the text. This activity is currently available in American English, British Englsih, German, Hebrew, Russian, and Spanish.

Clinicians can generate a passage using an AI text generator by choosing the topic, length, and language level, then refine the result by regenerating or editing the text. You can also generate interactive closed-ended comprehension questions (information, inference, or a mix), choose how feedback is delivered (immediate or summary), and edit or add questions as needed.

The practice screen includes built-in reading supports such as adjustable text size and spacing, end-of-line marking, word marking, highlighting, and read-aloud options for both the text and the questions. You can also hide the passage or hide the questions to support recall practice.

You can save your reading passage and questions as a deck, making it easy to share for self-practice or reuse with other clients.
